About Me
Yo! I’m Aden
I am a Georgia Institute of Technology student studying Computational Media with threads in Media and Games (the major is pretty much just Computer Science with a focus on entertainment). I plan to graduate in Spring 2025.
I am an avid game developer, creating fun and unique experiences that push engaging narratives. My game development consists of complex programming, efficient production, and challenging narrative and level designs. I also utilize these skills in various other computational and creative fields, such as web and phone application development.
Cutting past my first time playing a video game, etc., my journey truly begins with my first ever programming course at Kennesaw State University. It was one of the worst courses I have ever taken. However, it led to my acceptance into Georgia Tech, where I have pushed myself in every way imaginable (at least it feels like it). I have grown from someone who pretty much had to copy a YouTube video to fully realize my first game into a confident developer who is proud of his achievements. My latest achievement is completing my Junior Design, a course designed to simulate a more corporate work environment, which actively prepared and excited me for life outside of college.
When I’m not developing...
I’m hanging with the greatest girlfriend ever! She inspires me more and more every day to pursue my goals.
I’m gaming. Without my ever-growing love for video games, I would not have the passion to develop them. Here I am after picking up my favorite game of all time: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
I’m consuming other media. My passions do not solely rest with video games. I am a huge fan of various other projects and places. This picture shows that with one of my absolute favorite memories…meeting Kermit the Frog! I also try to travel as much as I can (mainly to Disney World).
I’m workin’. I was raised to have a strong work ethic, and I pride myself on that. I’ve held various jobs from local arcades and contracting to Ace Hardware (pictured here).
